SO SO SO BUSY.

I used to have problems switching between using the pc @ home and the mac @ office whenever I brought back some work home to finish up. With all the work I've been bringing home lately, I just realized it doesn't happen to me anymore. NOT a good sign. Definitely not.


Ek says my room feng shui a bit salah. Should never have repositioned my bed. ahhahaha.. Eh EK, last nite I tried to change my sleeping position. Had worse luck in the office wei. Gonna go back to sleeping on my side :)


Everyone's so so so busy with work lately. Guess it's our careers "taking off". Haven't seen friends I used to see on an almost daily basis for about 2 / 3 weeks now. Eh guys, next week k? Once the fashion show's over, after you've come back from feeding the leeches, after you've finished guiding your 2 new staffs in 'em hypermarkets, after you're done with your 1st crit before you head off to jakarta, (after you're done working for the next 13 days straight), after I've returned your cleavage, after you're done building up 'em websites ----- we should all go out for DINS. I wanna go to NINE and have some nice cocktails. Can?


I'll be working over the weekend (for the 3rd week in a row), and on Labour Day too. How ironic. So if I should really grumpy over the weekend, you know why ya.


So gonna take my replacement leave at one go. M.O.S. Phuket. Bali. Cherating. Angkor Wat. Sipadan. Egypt. Langkawi. Taiwan. Yes. Yes. Yes.

TAXED TO THE MAX

This week has been the most taxing, fucked up week ever, career-wise.

If only there was an underground bunker I can hide, and come out once the dust from the atomic-bomb devastation above has cleared, to start anew in a purged world.


walao. so drama.

Anyway, here's hoping for a better week ahead.
Nothing could be worse (except losing my job).
So I'm praying it won't happen.

INFINITE

One hell of a week. So many ups and downs. Just wanna write down some stuff for myself before I forget.

Was driving back on monday and suddenly decided to make a pit stop at Bukit G-Spot.
The soft humming of the engine, the rustle of the leaves, the bright flickers of the city just out of reach, smoke swriling around my fingertips, the slow laboured inhalation/exhalation of smoke, the whipers of cars cutting thru the silent still air, and most important of all, the sweet sounds of Feist gently pouring out my speakers.

What are we gonna do if we lose that fire?"

I think this is how infinite feels like. I may not have a pickup truck, a tunnel to zoom through, the silent vacuum right before the explosion of color and sound, but this is good enough for now and I am content.





Suddenly decided to take a walk around my block after that. Met up with MayX2. Chatted in front of her house for a bit. Her swing we used to sit on years ago still looks the same. The cement outside her gate still cracked in the same spots. It's nice when some things remain the same after all these years, as though time does not have a hold on everything in it's path.





Spent my wed nite with the girls for dinner, then danced the nite away @ MamboJambo. I is really likes. CJ I gotta bring you there k? Your first time might have sucked, but it gets better later on. hahhahaha.. I'll burn some old songs for you first k? Listen and get aquainted. The rest of the gang, we gotta gooooooooooooooooooo~~. Did my wierd dancing on the floor, pulled K to the dancefloor with me. K cringed at me utilizing my occupied space. S and D were in their own world. Woke up feeling like shit the next day. My brain shut down by 3pm. Heaven knows how I managed to work until nite.





Was evaluated by my boss during lunch on friday. She asked me to accompany her for lunch. Something's up.

"Boy, your contract ends next week right?"
*big wide grin plastered on her face*
"I guess thurs will be your last day. Thanks for all you've done so far."

Like this also wanna fool around with me? Was spitting out expletive after expletive in my head, faster than an AK-47.

The outcome? My contract just got extended by another 2 more months. Good news or bad news, I can't really decide right now, depends on which way you view it I guess. But I've been given the opportunity, so I'll make the most of it. The time to leave will come, and I'll know when that happens. Until then, I have a lot of midnight oil to burn. ***thanks for the 2nd chance***





Fri nite was office karaoke nite. Fun, but not really fun when all your big bosses are all in the same room as you. Felt a bit self-conscious.
Popped by alexis with D & M & D's friend. Roger Wang was good. Just felt so romantic. Didn't know he was gonna be performing that nite, another unexpected surprise. D wanted to dance but couldn't coz of her high heels. Wish I had someone to dance with that nite :) I like D's laughter, so infectious. M make sure we benefit from your ONS. hahahahha.


Thanks CJ for dinner on sat. Tofu was really nice. This time I don't wanna sit where there's a pillar to block my view. May I not ever succumb to eating your leftovers. hahahaha. More scandals please. At the rate you're going, we gotta write everything down before we forget :)


Ok a little bit more. Love hotel with the Usuals. Love hotel sessions are always fun. (btw, I had to shit again when I came back. No more Valentine ya Chichi? Stick to pomelo tea ya? And mango something something black pearl something something). Bought Corrine Bailey Rae's cd. Had a listen to it while driving around aimlessly for a decent part of the hour. Another infinite moment, where everything just fits. And you think. About life, yourself, the people around you. And it all makes sense.
