RECAPS >> ONE
I flew back to good ol' KL on the 22nd of Jan with FAT ... flight time was 3:40 pm..
we were supposed to have finished cleaning up the apartment and have the whole morning to ourselves.. to have a last look at Melb at sunrise.. to have our last BOOST juice, to have gelati one last time, maybe even DonDon's for the last time.... fatt's fatty ass laaaaaaa... instead, we were up until 4am still packing and cleaning.. I dozed off early and had to rush to finish up packing and cleaning the entire morning..

Reached the airport early. Looked at the counter. ALL counters manned by WOMEN!!!! die.. we knew there's no way we can convince these fussy looking women to turn a blind eye to our overweight luggages... we got this old auntie looking lady.. she would only let us bring 20kgs onboard each.. told her that students are entitled to 30kgs. finally she relented.. but even after that, we were still 11 kgs extra...die.. had to open our suitcases on the spot and gave everyone a free show.. fatt hid some heavy things in our hand luggage and in the corner where no one could see..
A while later..
auntie lady : "ahem.. where did all the extra 11 kgs go to?"
smiling me : " we put most of it in our hand luggage.... " (since our hand luggage was pretty light.. just a lot of bags"
auntie lady (in not really believing look) : "OK" and unceremoniously dumped our bags on the conveyer belt. Bet she was so hoping that she could make extra money and charge us $15 for very extra kg.
Drama over for now.
I don't know how we did it, but we spent so much time trying to rearrange all the hidden stuff in our remaining hand luggage so it wouldn't look so obvious. And it made us LATE!
We only entered customs around 3.30pm with 10 mins to go.. shit.. was already panicking.. Before we could put our bags for the x-ray scan, an announcement came on air.
"Paging for Mr Chan and Mr Wong.. please proceed to gate 6 NOW"
shit.. hahahha... fumbled with my belt... same with fafa.. both of us just grabbed our bags and ran towards the gate.. Lost my handcuffs in the process (sorry ann&kim).. I paused for 5 seconds at a trash can to spit out my gum and some other unnecessary papers.... This short bouncy lady came running in our direction.
"Are you Chan and Wong?"
"yes"
"Why are you both so late? HURRY HURRY"
She ran and took us through shortcuts to get to the gate. And then in the commotion, I coudn't find my boarding pass.
DIE. I think I must have thrown it away when spitting out my gum.
Wanted to run back to the trash can to get it.
"Hey!! Where are you going?"
Luckily one of the staff said he could reprint a copy of the boarding pass for me. Running down that erm.. corridor from the building to the plane seemed to take forever, especially with air cabin crew at the end glaring at you.

"These 2 kids are the ones that caused the delay ah???" (I overheard one of the air stewardesses)
Damn. Such a close call. Got glaring looks from other passengers. To think we nearly missed the plane :) And sorry to the South African lady sitting next to us. Sorry for acting like small kids and play fighting especially nearing KL.. hahhahaha
p.s. The funniest bit was when Mrs Chan mistook me for her long-lost son when we stepped into the Arrival Hall... hahhahaha "eh. you look different..."
